11 March - 29 May. An exhibition of drawings in all their myriad forms is currently taking place at Martin-Gropius-Bau. The 2,600 works by 600 artists are on loan from the MoMA in New York and comprise the Judith Rothschild Foundation Contemporary Drawings, a vast collection which was acquired by MoMA in 2005.

The works were assembled to highlight the often-overlooked but critically important art form that is drawing, and to give a general overview of the medium. The exhibition includes sketches, scribbles, plans, both gigantic and minuscule works, in a variety of styles from classic to abstract, as well as other related mixed-media works.

Wed-Mon 10.00-20.00.
