Conor Walton: Allegories of Painting

14 September - 13 October. Dunamaise Arts Centre presents Conor Walton’s ninth solo-show, titled Allegories of Painting.

With his latest exhibition of figure paintings, Walton explores themes that reflect upon the nature and power of painting itself.

Walton is known for his still lifes, portraits and landscapes, as well as his masterful application of paint.

Winner of multiple awards, Walton is considered one of the foremost Irish painters of his generation and now exhibits extensively outside Ireland.

Dunamaise Arts Centre is located in the town of Portlaoise, south of the capital, and can be reached by train and bus.
