4-21 July 2008. Now in its 30th edition, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival takes over practically every venue in town with concerts, masterclasses, jam sessions and virtuoso performances from local and international jazz stars. The line-up includes the legendary Ornette Coleman, Wayne Shorter, Cassandra Wilson, Angelique Kidjo, Ravi Coltrane, Joe Lovano and Dave Liebman. Special events include the free opening concert by 16-piece Brazilian SpokFrevo Orchestra, Jazz by the Sea at Islands Brygge, Jazz for Kids and Jazz meets the Street. Admission various.
