21 May 2006. The Copenhagen marathon takes over the streets of the capital for the fifth consecutive year, passing through the city centre and all the major sights. The race starts and finishes near the Black Diamond, the Royal Library on the waterfront at Christians Brygge, and follows a traffic-free course with musicians and street entertainers along the way. Running times are to be registered using an electronic chip, which all participants will receive along with their number at the Marathon Expo at the ice skating arena near the national football stadium 18-20 May. Entry fee Dkk 450, Dkk500 after 8 May. Starting time 09.30.
