Copenhagen summer concerts.

3 May-30 Aug 2006. Four different venues are hosting concerts of classical music every Wednesday afternoon throughout the summer. The Holmen Kirke on Holmens Canal hosts the May concerts featuring renaissance music performed by the CanZone ensemble, conducted by Roland Haraldson with soloist Helle Pedersen, soprano. Christians Kirke is the venue for baroque music concerts performed by CanZone on 7 and 28 June, and by the Elizabeth Zeuthen Schneider violin and baroque ensemble on 14 and 21 June. In July the Court Theatre (the Teatermuseet in the Hofteatret) at Christiansborg Ridane hosts four concerts of music by Mozart entitled Vienna Classics performed by the Galanteana chamber ensemble conducted by Jesper Nordin. Music from the Romantic period with Christian Westergaard and members of the Leid company is on offer in August in the 18th-century Grev Moltkes Palace on Dronningens Tvrgade. Concerts run for 45 minutes. Admission free. Every Weds at 17.00.
