5-26 Dec 2005. La Casa Encendida presents a series of international short films belonging to the horror and black comedy genres every Mon night during Dec. The English-language titles include The carpenter and his clumsy wife by Peter Foot from Ireland, Tea Break by Sam Walker and Desserts by Jeff Stark and Jill Robertson from the UK. From France Lhomme sans tte by Juan Solanas is the only animated film in the hour-long programme. A short film from Brazil entitled A alma do negcio by Jos Roberto Torero is set in an imaginary consumers paradise, while Staplerfahrer Klaus-Der erste arbeitstag by German film-maker Jrg Wagner tells of a forklift truck drivers first challenging day of work. All the films will be shown in the original language with Spanish sub-titles. La Casas projection room has seating for 72. Every Mon at 20.00. Admission 1.
