Cy Twombly: Photographs 1951-2010
1 Feb-29 April. Over 100 Polaroid photographs by the American artist Cy Twombly, selected in close cooperation with the artist prior to his death in Rome last summer, are now on show in Brussels.
Although he had been taking Polaroid photographs since his student days, Twombly did not make these ethereal images public until the 1990s.
Their subject matter varies considerably and includes still-lifes, landscapes, details of his paintings, snap shots of his studio, museum interiors and ancient temples
