21 June-23 Oct. The Centre Pompidou, in collaboration with the Tate Britain and the Metropolitan Museum of New York, presents a comprehensive exhibition dedicated to David Hockney, one of the 20th century's most influential British artists, in celebration of his 80th birthday.
Despite his advancing years, Hockney continues to embrace change, particularly in relation to technology, however he says that his work has maintained a level of continuity over his 60-year career.
The Centre Pompidou presents an extensive selection of Hockney’s best known works, examining six decades of his paintings, drawings and prints, as well as his photography and video work.
