3-6 Nov 2005. Covering 25,000 sqm at the Fiera de Madrid, this massive exhibition of leisure and competitive sports has something for active participants and spectators alike. Apart from the space dedicated to manufacturers of sportswear and sporting articles, from footballs to fishing rods to skate-boards, and the presence of the major sponsors of sports clubs and institutions, there will also be installations dedicated to each of a myriad of sporting activities. Pavilions 2, 4, and 6 will be divided into zones for football, tennis, running, basketball, golf, snow sports, cycling, outdoor, and extreme sports, each of which with an exhibition area and corresponding activity space where you can try out the sport, take part in clinics and watch the experts at play. Some of the big names from the sporting world like Beckham and Roberto Carlos should be putting in an appearance. Discussion forums and a sporting congress are also on the programme.
