14 June-24 July 2005. Definitely one for the luvvies, this six-week offering of Shakespearean entertainment takes place at IFSCs George's Dock in Dublin's Docklands this summer and is produced by Footsbarn, a travelling theatre company of some renown. Performances include The Tempest and Perchance to Dream, an original piece created by writer Andre Markowicz and Footsbarn that incorporates aspects of the Bards famous Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, King Lear and Hamlet plays, and revolves around the ideas of the four seasons and the seven ages of man. The festival takes place on a specially made 500-seat floating marquee on George's Dock adding to the extra special atmosphere. Dont miss this great night out in Dublin this summer. Entry costs 25. Doors open 19.30, shows start 20.00.
