30 September - 17 October 2010. This year's Dublin Theatre Festival presents a significant programme of Irish and international work. Its showcase of contemporary Polish drama includes Krystian Lupa's seven-hour production Factory 2 and Teatr Polski's T.E.O.R.E.M.A.T. while Jan Klata directs the multiple award-winning Danton Case, an adaptation of a Polish play set in the French Revolution. Ireland's Rough Magic presents Phaedra, in a new version by Hilary Fannin and Ellen Cranitch, featuring live music from some well-known Irish musicians. Also taking place is the world premiere of The Rehearsal, Playing The Dane, directed by Gavin Quinn. The Gate Theatre celebrates the greats of 20th-century theatre, with Samuel Beckett's Endgame and Watt, Harold Pinter's Celebration, and David Mamet's Boston Marriage.
