Under the theme "Come out to play" this year's Dublin Theatre Festival presents yet another significant programme of Irish and international work.
Highlights of the 18-day festival include Maeve's House starring Ireland's much-loved Eamon Morrissey; Beckett's Waiting for Godot by the Gare St Lazare Players; The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill; Neutral Hero by the New York City Players; The Critic by Rough Magic; and the world premiere at the Abbey Theatre of The Hanging Gardens by Frank McGuinness, one of Ireland’s most important playwrights.
Established in 1957, the festival takes place in theatre venues throughout the capital. For full details see programme.
