Ed Atkins: Old Food

29 Sept-7 Jan. The Martin-Gropius-Bau presents the latest disturbing works of cutting-edge British artist Ed Atkins.

The exhibition features unnerving imagery such as babies and old men weeping, alongside a grotesque giant sandwich whose salad interior is mixed with corpses.

Born in 1982, Atkins is a leading light in a new generation of emerging British artists, creating art using digital software, computer-generated imagery, 3-D animation and surround sound-tracking.

His extensive use of post-production and musical compositions result in hyperreal imagery and videos.

Wed-Mon 10.00-20.00. Tues closed.
