The Stedelijk presents the first solo exhibition in the Netherlands of cutting-edge British artist Ed Atkins.
Born in 1982, Atkins is a leading light in a new generation of emerging British artists, creating art using digital software, computer-generated imagery, 3-D animation and surround soundtracking.
His extensive use of post-production and musical compostitions result in hyperreal imagery and videos.
His videos, collages and drawings are on display in the Stedelijk's 1,100-sqm lower-level gallery.
