9 Feb-21 May 2006. Barcelonas Centre de Cultura Contempornia, the CCCB, is hosting a celebration of two of the worlds most respected filmmakers, Spaniard Victor Erice and Iranian Abbas Kiarostami. The exhibition includes photographs, installations and film screenings as well as a project involving a filmed correspondence between the two filmmakers, in which they exchange their latest ideas and images. Screenings of the films of Kiarostami and Erice will take place on 22 & 25 Feb, 8, 11, 24 & 25 March. All-Screenings Pass 12.50 concessions 10. There are also filmmakers workshops for schools and weekend workshops for children. The exhibition is divided into sections including The Infancy of Art/The Art of Infancy, La Morte Rouge, The Clamour of the World/The Silence of Painting and Ten Minutes Older, two short films made by Erice and Kiarostami as part of a collective international film of the same title.
