Every Day Matters

A group of international contemporary artists takes the title Every Day Matters as the basis for an exhibition that plays on the "fundamental existential condition that every day is important, and that reality has forced its way in as an artistic necessity".

The participating artists have each created works that are rooted in their diverse experiences of everyday life, drawing from their differing geographical, political, social and religious backgrounds.

Their sometimes unexpected end-results combine sociopolitical commentary with humour, poetry and aesthetic beauty.

Faurschou Foundation is a privately-funded art foundation in Copenhagen and Beijing established by Danish art dealers Luise and Jens Faurschou.
