The unifying theme of this years 18th edition of the Expolingua international fair for languages and cultures is Languages Connect and over 145 exhibitors from 20 countries will have stands at the fair, to be held at the Russian House of Science and Culture - Russisches Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur - including embassies, cultural institutes, publishers, language schools, universities and tourist associations. Producers of software for language learning and translation will provide the hi-tech side of what is essentially an enormous intercultural exchange opportunity. Seminars and workshops accompany the exhibition on themes about language-learning trends and mini-language courses are on offer to give visitors a taste of learning another language and the methods used. Information is available on studying and work experience opportunities abroad. This year the guest of honour is the Republic of Poland and several Polish regions will be exhibiting.
