Festival d’Automne

This four-month festival of theatre, dance, film and performance art is an important fixture on the Parisian cultural calendar.

The 44th edition of the high-quality festival features many big names alongside emerging avant-garde talent, with performances in major venues such as the Centre Pompidou, the Musée du Quai Branly and the Théâtre de la Ville, as well as in less-established venues such as the Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil.

Programme highlights include 887 by Ex Machina / Robert Lepage (9-17 Sept); Andreas by Jonathan Châtel (25 Sept-15 Oct); Reality by Daria Deflorian and Antonio Tagliarini (30 Sept-11 Oct); Super Premium Soft Double Vanilla Rich by Toshiki Okada (18-21 Nov); and Orestie by Romeo Castellucci (2-20 Dec).

The festival is directed by Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, and features international performers from countries including Egypt, Germany, Italy and Japan.
