Gauguin the alchemist

11 Oct-22 Jan. This exhibition at the Grand Palais is promoted as the first in-depth inclusive study of the paintings, sculpture, graphic and decorative arts by pioneering Post-Impressionist master Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).

Focusing on the modernity of Gauguin’s creative process, the exhibition includes more than 200 of the artist's works.

The show has been organised in collaboration with by the Musées d’Orsay and the Art Institute of Chicago.
