29 May - 4 October 2009. This latest exhibition at the Louisiana focuses on alternative, sustainable architectural movements and in particular sheds light on the growing co-operation between sciencists and architects. Innovative and complex ways of building are constantly being invented with an ever-greater emphasis on environmently-friendly products and building practices. These modern advances are showcased thematically in three sections of the exhibition: The City, Metabolism and Climate & Comfort. Also on display are four 'future laboratories' which advocate the need to continually question and push the boundaries of architecture. Curated by Kjeld Kjeldsen, there is free admission to the exhibition.

Tues-Fri: 11.00-22.00 Sat-Sun: 11.00-18.00
