25 Nov-16 Dec 2005. The Dubliner Irish Cultural Centre in Barcelona is hosting three nights of stand-up comedy at a spectacular new venue on Las Ramblas. Top comedians from the United Kingdom and Ireland perform in an antique ballroom next door to the Fellini night club as the Dubliner brings Barcelona the best in comedy. First up is Glaswegian Des Mclean, Billy Connellys favourite stand-up, on 25 Nov; his act is followed by music from London DJ Zane. 2 Dec is party night, with a cava reception, live DJs, spot prizes and fire eaters as well as three comedians: John Richardson, John Robins and Mark Evans. Ushering in the festive season, there are Christmas party celebrations on 16 Dec with well-known comedian Paul Kerensa plus guest Martin Beaumont. Admission 4 online, 6 on the door. 25 Nov, 2 and 16 Dec, 23.00 till late.
