Günter Brus – Zones of Disruption

12 March-6 June. Exhibition dedicated to the controversial work of Günter Brus, the contemporary Austrian painter, performance artist, experimental filmmaker and writer.

Born in 1938, Brus was the founder of Viennese Actionism, an action movement incorporating performance, body art, Fluxus and happenings, featuring nudity, destruction and violence.

This exhibition, the artist's first in Berlin, charts his notorious career and displays his full body of work which has been shocking viewers for generations.
