Hajra Waheed: Still against the sky

10 Oct-22 Nov. Conceptual exhibition in which Californian artist Hajra Waheed rearranges found materials from the realm of space research, surveillance documents and anonymous memoirs to create an imaginary time and space.

Acting as both artist and storyteller, Waheed narrates a fictitious personal and public history through scrapbooks, reconnaissance satellites, drone studies, and the inner life of the Saudi Aramco corporation, as it services the planet's hydrocarbon needs.

The exhibition comprises works made between 2010 and 2015.
