Honour and Glory. Treasures from the Spada Collection.

19 Nov 2008-15 March 2009. This exhibition features a treasured collection of curious and rare pieces of jewellery, textiles, military medals, decorations and orders of chivalry, uniforms and weaponry from the 15th to 21st century from 40 countries, which belong to the Spada collection in Brescia. This extraordinary private collection made of over 3,000 pieces was built up by ambassador Antonio Benedetto Spada during this diplomatic career since the 1960s.
