Hubert de Givenchy

Described by organisers as the first major retrospective devoted to French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy, this exhibition is also the Museo Thyssen's first foray into the world of fashion.

The show, which is curated by the 87-year-old de Givenchy himself, features a selection of his finest creations from the past 50 years.

The collections on display range from early pieces dating to the founding of Maison Givenchy in Paris in 1952 up to the designer's retirement in 1996.

Highlights include dresses he designed for Jacqueline Kennedy, the Duchess of Windsor, Princess Caroline of Monaco and his friend Audrey Hepburn.

Tues-Sun 10.00-19.00.
