29 Aug-3 Sept 2008. IFA is the main European fair for consumer electronics, which takes place every year in Berlin, and the second in importance after the CES of Las Vegas. IFA offers a unique preview of the objects that are destined to invade the shops. Last year there were 1,212 exhibitors from 32 countries and over 220,000 visitors from all over the world.

On show is the latest in audio, video, multimedia, satellite navigation and mobility, items which will become available to the public in the future months. About 30,000 square meters is dedicated this year to domestic appliances. The rooms are surrounded by the new generation of high definition televisions with LCD and plasma screens, capable of improving visual quality still further. The highlight of this media event is a 150-inch screen the largest on the market.
