14 April - 24 April 2010. Amsterdam's Imagine Film Festival began in 1984 as a two-night event. Now in its 26th year, the cult festival attracts a large and loyal following, and features the best of the world's fantasy, animation, thriller and horror movies, most of them Dutch premieres. The 2010 programme features over 70 movies with the added bonus of the possibility to meet the films' directors. The audience get to choose the recipient of the Silver Scream prize, awarded to the most popular film.
