25 Aug-12 Dec 2006. Amsterdams world-famous concert hall, the Concertgebouw, presents a series of jazz concerts featuring everything from traditional to calypso. Performers include virtuoso violinist Jeffrey Bruinsma (25 Aug), Lillian Viera with 70s Samba Soul (18 Sept), the Randal Corsen Group and their Musik Antiyano (18 Oct), flamenco guitarist Tamatito accompanied by Michel Camilo on piano (30 Oct) and the Blue Paradise Big Band with a Glenn Miller Tribute (26 Nov). One of the highlights of the series sees the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw directed by Henk Meutgeert in concert with Grammy-award winning vocal ensemble the New York Voices (21 Nov).
