9 Nov 2006. Legendary jazz pianist and composer Keith Jarrett performs with his trio at Madrids Teatro Real as part of their Spanish tour. Founded by Jarrett in 1983, the trio, with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette, is one of the premier working groups in jazz. Their first album of jazz standards, entitled simply Standards, has been followed by 17 hit albums of live concert recordings, original compositions and group improvisations. Jarrett notoriously does not tolerate disturbing noise, coughing etc from the audience during his concerts. The trios Spanish tour also takes in Seville and Barcelona. Admission 80-20.
