28 April - 15 May 2010. Samuel Beckett's classic one-man show 'Krapp's Last Tape' is being performed in Dublin for a limited time. The story centres around the self-absorbed Krapp who, each year on his birthday, sets about recording the significant, and mundane, details of the last year.
While listening to his archives on his 69th birthday Krapp discovers a sweet memory, recorded in his youth, which leads him to examine his present existence with regret. Veteran Gate actor Michael Gambon returns to Ireland in his first performance since the runaway success of Pinter's 'No Man's Land' two years ago.
Mon-Sat: 20.00 (Saturday Matinee: 15.00 - on selected dates)
