'La retirada de Mosc' based on the eponymous book is about a marriage falling apart, a crisis that hits two people who know each other intimately yet have always loved at a certain distance. Radiant and passionate, Alice reaches the end of her tether with wry and introverted Edward, a husband incapable of satisfying her desires. In the meantime, the couples son grows up terrified of becoming like his father. The author deftly deconstructs life and ways of being in this three-way character exploration.
