3-25 June 2006. Two of Shakespeares most famous plays, Hamlet and The Tempest, have been woven together by director Llus Pasqual to create La Tempestrad en Madrid, presented by the Teatro Espaol. The contrasting themes of revenge and love and forgiveness have been given a contemporary slant, reflecting on the nature of revenge, violence and terrorism. The cast includes Eduard Fernandez, Marisa Paredes, Francesc Orella and Anna Lizaran. Admission 20-3. Performances at 20.30 on 3, 7, 11, 13, 15, 18, 21, 25 June; at 22.00 on 4 June; at 23.00 on 10, 17 & 24 June.
