Leonardo da Vinci: Ten Drawings from the Royal Collection

4 May-17 July. As the title suggests, ten drawings by Leonardo da Vinci on loan from the Royal Collection in London are presented at Ireland's National Gallery in Dublin. Exhibition organisers say the images have been selected to reflect the wide scope of da Vinci's expertise which, in addition to art, included anatomy, botany, engineering, map-making and zoology.

The exhibition also showcases the artist's supreme skill in a range of media from pen and ink to chalk, watercolour and metalpoint. Tickets to the exhibition are free but must be booked in advance online via the National Gallery's website.

Mon-Sat 09.30-17.30 Thurs 09.30-20.30 Sun. 12.00-17.30
