London's Design Museum shows Christian Louboutin

1 May - 9 July. The Design Museum dedicates a retrospective to the work of French master shoe designer Christian Louboutin. Showcasing 20 years of shoes, the exhibition reveals Louboutin's design processes and examines the evolution of his work, from initial sketches to finished product.

Since launching his label in 1991, Louboutin's stilettos, studded runners and trademark red-soled shoes have continuously pushed the boundaries of shoe design.

The exhibition also reveals the designer's inspiration which includes art, architecture, cabaret, movies and fairytales.
