26 Jan-25 September 2005. One of Spains finest Art Nouveau buildings the Aymerich, Amat and Jover mill now houses the Museu de la Cincia i de la Tcnica de Catalunya. The museum plays host to both permanent and temporary exhibitions on a range of subjects. Looking at the Radio looks at the historical development of radio over the last 100 years from its birth to the modern times. Through all the technological changes, new trends and fashions, radio has managed to remain focused on reaching into peoples lives wherever they may be. The exhibition focuses on radio design. This has been influenced by technology, production techniques, available power supplies as well as changing fashions and patterns of behaviour. Over 100 radios from the 1920s to the present day and graphic and audio displays are featured in the exhibition.
