13 June-29 July 2006. Giacomo Puccinis three-act opera returns to the Gran Teatre del Liceu in a co-production with Londons Covent Garden Opera. In this production co-directed by Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier, the role of Cio-Cio San is shared by Fiorenza Cedolins, Liping Zhang, Christina Gallardo-Domas and Daniela Dessi. Pinkerton is played by Richard Leech and Albert Montserrat. Musical direction by Yves Abel. Madama Butterfly runs for 2 hours 45 minutes. Admission 164.25-22. Performances at 20.30. Matinees 18 Jun at 18.00, 25 Jun & 2 July at 17.00.
