14-26 Feb 2006. One of Barcelonas foremost alternative theatre venues, the Versus Teatre, is hosting the Madrid-based dance company Malucos Danza with its contemporary flamenco show Malucos Flamenco. Following no storyline, the dancers evoke emotions, ideas and moods to original music by Ral Guerra, the flamenco guitar of Paco Cruz and the voice of Jerezano "El Londro" in a homage to Camarn de la Isla, one of Spains greatest flamenco singers. Directed by Carlos Chamorra, the Malucos dance company combines folklore, flamenco, contemporary dance and the 18th-century escuela bolera dance styles in a unique theatrical experience. Admission 16 Performances Tues-Sat 20.30, Sun 19.00.
