From 28 Sept 2005. For the first time Miguel Mihuras signature work, Maribel y la extraa familia, can be enjoyed with music, dance and songs. First produced in 1959, Maribel has been adapted into a musical by Juan Jos Arteche and ngel Fernndez Montesinos, who have also managed to include the same delicious dialogues of this great comedy. The new show has costumes by Pedro Moreno and a cast led by Andoni Ferreo and Amparo Saizar, as well as music by Jos Ramn de Aguirre and lyrics by Fernando Albares. Maribel is the tale of an unusual girl wooed by a shy provincial type. The story sees him growing more and more concerned over the company she keeps at work, a cabaret. The plot unravels with both absurd and hilarious results.
