Marie-Louise Martin: paths - i sentieri
The United Arts Club hosts an exhibition of new drawings, etchings and dry-point prints by the Irish fine art printmaker Marie-Louise Martin, who is based between Dublin and Tuscany.
Martin is one of a handful of contemporary printmakers in Ireland who employ traditional intaglio techniques in creating limited edition original prints, from the initial drawing stage through to the final proofing process.
The works on display are the result of the artist's travels in the Irish and Italian countryside, and include a number of limited edition fine art prints.
The exhibition will be opened by Arthur Duff, president of the Friends of the National Collections of Ireland, on 6 November at 20.00.
Located in the heart of Georgian Dublin, the United Arts Club has been an important centre for the Irish arts since its foundation in 1907.
