Mohamed Bourouissa: Horseday

10 Sept-1 Jan. The Stedelijk presents recently-purchased photographs and a video installation by the French-Algerian artist Mohamed Bourouissa.

The works belong to the artist's ongoing Horseday project, a series of photographs and sculptures inspired by the role that horses, stables and riding plays in the life of the African American community in Philapelphia.

Based in Paris, Bourouissa is known for his dynamic, colourful photographs of youth, immigrants and everyday life in the Paris suburbs.
