25 Nov 2006. The Mozart Festival Orchestra performs two concerts of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts best-loved works at Dublins National Concert Hall. Dressed in full 18th-century costume and playing by candlelight, the orchestra will perform The Marriage of Figaro Overture, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Piano Concerto No. 21, Mozarts Clarinet Concerto and Mozarts Symphony No. 40. Steven Devine on pianoforte also conducts, with soloist Mark van de Wiel on clarinet. The Mozart by Candlelight concert, presented by Raymond Gubbay, celebrates the 250th anniversary of Mozarts birth. Admission 40/37.50/29.50, Choir Balcony 19.50. Concerts at 15.15 & 20.00.
