15 Nov-31 Dec. "My Cousin Rachel" returns to the Gate Theatre for the Christmas season following a sell-out run earlier this year.
The play follows Philip Ashley as he comes to terms with the fate of his guardian Ambrose Ashley, whose life changes after meeting a distant relative, the Contessa Sangalletti in Italy.
The production is based on the popular 1951 novel by British author Daphne du Maurier and has been adapted for the Gate by celebrated Irish author Joseph O’Connor.
Described by the Gate as "a feverish story of secrets, deceptions and forbidden longings", the play is directed by Toby Frow, and the cast includes Stephen Brennan, John Cronin, Bosco Hogan, Amy Molloy and Hannah Yelland.
Evening performances 19.30, mattinee shows 14.30.
