5 May-31 July. The Prado Museum is currently displaying a wide selection of drawings, artists' notebooks and photographs which, due to their fragile nature, are normally stored in the department of Prints and Drawings and are never seen by the general public.

The exhibition comprises a selection of Spanish drawings from the 17th and 19th centuries, including some belonging to Goya, many of which are on show for the first time.

Although the collection has been built up since the time of the museum's founding in 1819, the bulk of the over-all collection was acquired between 1997 and 2010. The prints and drawings department is located in the new Jer
