28 June-8 Jan. The Reina Sofía presents Spain's first retrospective dedicated to the artist group NSK (Neue Slowenische Kunst), which was to the cultural forefront in 1980s Yugoslavia, during the Cold War era. The movement, whose name means New Slovenian Art, incorporated several collectives and artists inspired by the Russian avant-garde, Bauhaus and Fluxus. The show assesses the legacy of NSK, highlighting its public acts, concerts, exhibitions, theatre productions and performances.
