16 July-16 Sept. Senda Gallery is staging a new series entitled Cubs by Oleg Dou, who was born in Moscow in 1984.
His second solo exhibition in Spain, the artist has abandoned his trademark close-up portraits, painted in a square format, and presents instead a series of haunting images of children.
The Cubs series comprises pale-faced, silent and near-lifeless portraits. Oleg Dou is representative of a new generation of young Russian artists.
