On the Move: Storytelling in Contemporary Photography and Graphic Design

The Stedelijk Museum presents an exhibition focusing on recent developments and new directions in photography.

In particular it highlights the role played by graphic designers in the creative process of contemporary photographers and multimedia artists. Photographers have long used photo books as a way of telling their stories however the constant advances in technology mean there have never been so many choices in how to present a photographic project.

This exhibition delves into the world of apps, audovisual installations and websites, and examines their role in the work of today's photographers.
