Painting After Postmodernism - Belgium - USA

15 Sept-13 Nov. The exhibition comprises 256 paintings in 16 solo presentations by eight American and eight Belgian artists. All 16 artists are described as prominent, and the show compares new trends in painting from both countries.

The Belgian artists are Mil Ceulemans, Joris Ghekiere, Bernard Gilbert, Marc Maet, Werner Mannaers, Xavier Noiret-Thomé, Bart Vandevijvere, and Jan Vanriet.

The US is represented by Walter Darby Bannard, Karen Gunderson, Martin Kline, Melissa Kretschmer, Lois Lane, Paul Manes, Ed Moses, and Larry Poons.
