29 June- 12 July 2005. Parisians love their cinema, and the city has one of the highest densities of movie theatres in the world. Over 20 of these venues (Forum des images, Le Grand Rex, UGC Cin-Cit Bercy, MK2 Beaubourg, and others) have gathered to participate in the third edition of the Paris Cinma festival. This edition, presided over by Jeanne Moreau, again presents an abundant and diverse programme: tributes and retrospectives devoted to leading figures of film (Jeanne Moreau, Jim Carrey, Jacky Chan or Catherine Frot), previews of major upcoming films or competitions included in the festival, a the variety of open air events and more. Tickets cost 4, 3 for children under 12.
