25 May-19 September. An exhibition comprising paintings, sculpture, design, fashion and cinema by 50 artists from France and India is designed to showcase the diversity of Indian contemporary culture, as seen through the eyes of its citizens as well as foreigners.
Seen as a platform for artistic communication, the exhibition identifies the rapidly-changing modern Indian society, and contains art works based on the nation's politics, religions and its multitude of cultures. The artists completed their works in India specifically for the show, which includes work by Pierre & Gilles, Philippe Ramette, Fabrice Hyber, Subodh Gupta, and Bharti Kher.
