Patterns of Illumination by David Beattie

28 February - 2 April 2011. An installation of new and recent work by Dublin-based artist David Beattie, including a number of works completed during his residency last year at the Mattress Factory Art Museum in Pittsburgh.

As an artist he is concerned with processes which contrast everyday experiences with perspectives of existence. Beattie also explores natural elements, seeking comparisons and parallel patterns based on his findings. The artist has exhibited recently in Canada, Ireland, France and Britain.
